...drove that steep angle/incline exit again, and I'm still getting the pop/bang noise from the front of the truck. Minor annoyance, but I'll still want to find a solution.

Shock "topping" out by the sound of it. Is it when the suspension extends?

I think it must be when the suspension extends, as you said -- because it's a steep exit and then immediately goes to flat ground. Same phenomenon experienced over some pot holes.

You mentioning the shock topping out sounds similar to the diagnosis I received from the truck shop that specializes in this kind of stuff. They said my suspension is "pretty much maxed out." I wonder if I had stock-size tires, if it would eliminate the issue.

It seems I might need an aftermarket solution to this problem. If I can't figure it out here on the club I could see myself reaching back out to that shop for more troubleshooting.

tire size will not change this issue. If you don't have an FX4, You can try the struts and shocks off one of those to see if you are going to see a change, and really if you are doing that, might as well go tremor.

I already have the XL -- if Tremor front suspension components could resolve the issue, I'm interested. I'll need to ask some questions about compatibility with the truck and springs, and I'll also reach out to Eibach directly to see if they can help, though the shop I used to check my work and provide the alignment already has talked to them. Still curious what I can find out myself through Eibach.

Yes, you have an XL, but does it have the FX4 package on it? if not, that could be your issue as the FX4 has upgraded shocks. But like I said, if you are going to replace the shocks, the Tremors will be the way to go. Everything will bolt up etc. I bet it would be ideal off road.

My XL doesn't have the FX4 package either. You gave me some good stuff to look into. Thank you.

No problem. I am not new to tuning vehicles. I worked with Subaru Canada when they ran the first targa newfoundland to set up their rally cars because I knew all the roads!
