Ecoboost suspension vs hybrid

I can’t seem to find this answer to my question. People say the ecoboost rides smoother than the hybrid due to its independent rear suspension. Do all ecoboost models have independent rear suspension or only fx4 package?

Spring rates between the hybrid and ecoboost FWD are the same, having driven both, I didn't think there was a ride quality difference between the two. These vehicles actually drive much better than anything else in a similar price range/class.

It could be more of a case where some people may just have a bad or defective damper from the factory, or are comparing to something else that rides far more plush.
