Hoping yours gets picked up soon. The waiting is killer as we all know.
This is the WORST waiting of all. My truck can be at my dealer in less than two hours IF they would just pick it up.

I'm going to wait until tomorrow before bugging my dealer again, knowing there realistically is not much he can do either.

"AVPL in Edgemoor, Delaware on 12/12 at 3:53pm."

Predicting the future that my railcar will be at the Wilmington yard by this afternoon?

Based on other's recent experiences at Port Wilmington now begins the potential longest wait of the journey factoring in the Holidays OR they want to 'deliver' as much inventory before year-end close-out and it will be expedited. Getting close!!

Mine is currently still sitting at Ramp 6 in KCMO heading to Granger in Iowa. Arrived there on 11/24 and has been waiting since. Talked to Ford Chat today and they now say it should arrive sometime between 12/9-15.

Once it's arrived, how long does it need to spend at the dealer to pick up?

I don't know if Wilmington is hell. But it's definitely purgatory. You are almost in purgatory!

My Mav is at the dealership! Waiting for my salesman to call me back! Below is a screenshot of a delivery receipt and what it looks like.

Holy crap that was fast! Is your dealer like 10 miles from the rail yard?

It's 60 miles but only a little over an hour drive. Looks like they use smaller car transporters. Only 4 vehicles can fit at a time.

I'll tell you guys what's maddening: I can see F-150s and Explorers coming in for my dealer at the Newark, NJ, ramp and being assigned estimated delivery dates almost immediately. All these vehicles are being picked up and delivered to the dealer within days.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks and Bronco Sports arriving in Wilmington are just sitting there with no movement whatsoever. What gives?!?!?!?

There's a good chance my theory that they want higher MSRP vehicles delivered promptly especially so close to the end of the year has some truth to it. Yours will get there......I went through the same thing with mine.

I'm not convinced it's just not a difference in efficiency between the two rail yards. I mean, it's possible they are more or less caught up with deliveries in Newark but have a backlog in Wilmington. There is another member here from a dealer in NJ whose Maverick came into the Newark yard, and it was delivered within a couple days.

Regardless, it really is maddening. I honestly felt I was reasonably patient during the first 320 days of this process. But now that my truck it so close, I can hardly stand it.

What yard are you at? My dealer said he marked mine as "hot" too. Doesn't seem to be generating any heat at the Wilmington yard!

My father's is still sitting at Wilmington, came in with yours and still showing inactive, not even scheduled to go to Chapman. In the meantime I've seen other F150s and Broncos come in after and they've been delivered already. Maybe the dealer getting their vehicles from Newark didn't have anything higher priority going to them. All I know is that is the only logical reasoning and if I were managing a dealer's inventory I sure as hell would prioritize the more expensive vehicles being brought to me, it just makes sense so close to the end of the year when every bit of overall sales money could be the difference between a mediocre bonus and a great bonus.
