Finally able to post a new thread on here! It's been a while lol. Along with a quick review and pictures, I also made an installation video that I posted on YouTube.
The lip itself was surprisingly sturdy for being only $110. I imagine the fact that it was 3 piece allowed the company to save a ton on shipping costs compared to one piece lips. I will say 2 things annoyed me: 1. The lack of instructions. It was pretty straightforward, so I was able to figure it out HOWEVER... This leads me to annoyance 2. The hardware. In order to piece it together, you need to use the provided screws. Those screws were far too long and poked through the front side of the lip. I mention this in the Youtube video, and I worked around it by stacking the provided plastic washers so the screw length was shortened. This could have also been prevented had they just given shorter screws or gave instructions if I missed something. Luckily, you can't really see where the screw poked through the lip as it was on the under side and not visible. I know it's there though lol.
My only other concern is how long the gloss black finish will last. Hopefully for a long time, but only time will tell. Regardless, to get a lip that's similar in design to the Air Designs lip (no, it is not a copy, as there are differences in the shape from what I can tell) at this price point is pretty awesome. You can see the seams where the pieces come together if you get somewhat close, which doesn't bother me cause it looks OEM. If that bugs you, then I wouldn't recommend it. Overall, a solid 7.9/10!
Here's the install video if you'd like further instruction should you decide to buy it!
I didn't even know this existed until about a month ago. I tried to see if anyone had ordered it on here and found nothing. So, hopefully this can be another option for those that want something similar to an Air Designs lip on a budget!
