Doing the RS intercooler and CAI this weekend, and also installed a catch can, wanting to also go E85. Does the HPFP off the RS work on the maverick? Is there a better route? Is there anyone already running straight E85?

I'm running out of fuel on E30, but I am running a Corsair turbo. I think some guys are running E50, but haven't really heard of anyone running full E85. I haven't looked into the RS 4 lobe pump, I had heard that was a common upgrade for the FoST peeps.

The HPFP doesn't seem to be the limitation - it'll hold 3600psi without issue running as much boost as the stock turbo can happily make with E50. At that point, the limitation is injection window/injector sizing. HPFP drive lobes are not a part of the pump, but are a feature of the camshaft that drives the pump, and the Maverick already has four drive lobes per cam rotation just like the RS. Compared to the Maverick, the Focus RS pump may actually decrease fueling capacity. I'd be curious to see whether Nostrum/XDI/FIC injectors for Focus ST/RS applications would fit...

I haven't monitored fuel pressure on my setup to see if it's tapering off. I purchased a larger low pressure pump to see if increased flow will help me max out the corsair turbo. Another issue though, is the 2.5bar map sensor, because I'm at that limit as well....

The JB4 tuner marketing info claims plug and play tunes for e85. Anyone on here have experience with running e85 on just a tune?

Sorry I‘m Late to the party, is the RS intercooler a direct replacement/improvement?

I’ve been curious about a lot of the parts commonalities.

Glad to see you guys on it.

Just an update. Mine is going in for e85. Hpfp is fine but it needs injectors.

Livernois has a few e85 ones done. I’m booked for second week April

Well I only did the standard tune. The maverick did so well hauling that I’ve been using it more for work which is what I got it for.
Second reason is my wife got rear ended and have no date for the ranger raptor we had on order. So this may have to fill that gap for a min.
