Either drive like a pimp or CC drive if possible then both feet on floorboard and school desk sitting position. Those will get you by. As a previous poster said...ford jerked us on not letting us adjust the angle of seat. I should be able to tilt down without it smashing me into the dash feeling. My backrest leans way back and my head is just barely infront of the pillars between windows. Crack a can of Gin and juice and ride. Don't drive trashed that's irresponsible.

Its an inexpensive truck! I don’t expect near perfect ergonomics on my Mav. If I did I would probably have bought 15O or a Ram.
I agree that steering wheel adjustment can improve seat comfort.
Believe me I’ve tried that route. I am aware that it’s an inexpensive truck, but comfort should not be pushed to the wayside just based on price. The point is that I am trying to make it much more comfortable for me so that it’ll be fun to drive. Every day I get out of the car I am in pain. So I’m gonna do it I need to do.
Try lowering the seat. I had to do that in a few cars to get the front up. But with these seats I prefer a flatter seat since they are higher.
i’ve raised it and lowered it and it really hasn’t done much changing for me. Again what really hurts everything is that it does not have lumbar support, and the bolsters are horribly painful and stiff they go straight up into my back of my leg

🤣🤣🤣

Believe me I’ve tried a lot of different set ups. It’s the cushion and the lumbar support

There's a write-up for installing factory lumbar support from upper trim levels that you can search for here on the forums.

It’s funny you mentioned that but I’m not talking just about the seats. I have a thread on here about that. Shit I have two threads on here about that. One specifically about the Maverick and one about all Fords on the base level. That’s not my focus. What I focused on was the video where the guy gave quite a good breakdown on it and I have followed up with all their things on there. So we’re not gonna believe her the same thing that’s been beaten to death like a dead horse. If you’re talking about steering wheel adjustments and all of that believe me I’ve tried. Any possible solution that you think would be a remedy, believe me I’ve tried it. But that’s not what we’re talking about. That’s not the focus of the conversation.
