So, I was in the group that got a delayed email after my truck went into production two weeks ago. A status it is still in while I see trucks after it being shipped. I could call the dealership, but my regularly scheduled Explorer pester isn't until Friday.

I have not been overly concerned as the tracker being inaccurate has been a known thing and the window sticker has remained unchanged other than the date on the bottom (which is the current date when the link is selected). That said, last week, a second, identical Maverick showed up under my account. It has the same order number and VIN. So, I have questions:

  1. Is anyone else seeing this? (If so, stop and I'll move on with my life)
  2. If there was a problem with the truck during QA, would they scrap and restart with the same exact VIN?
    1. How does that generally work anyway, when a truck is rejected due to QA concerns?
    2. Could that be why two identical orders are appearing?

You are now doubly blessed by Henry Ford. It must be a BOGO.

Wasn't the Ford site showing people's orders popping up for a time and then was later removed? Probably a glitch in their system like they have with all of their other IT systems like the tracker or the email servers of theirs.

Bob i spoke with you a while back i live in Moody AL and we talked about our order's mine from Long/Lewis of Hoover and yours from Long/Lewis river region. I was just looking over your scheduling and it is the very same as mine scheduled the week of the 6th of june and went into production 0n 06/08/23 and was built the same day 06/08/23 and was shuped on 06/13/23 Long Lewis of Hoover provided me with a link from them to me through mesenger that is called VIN/VIEW it real time tracking. Call your salesman and tell him you want him to send you the same link that there counter/part sent me my Maverick salesman Danial Willis 205-989-3673 he handle the Maverick orders for Long/Lewis this link alerts you through messenger and gives you time and date when it reaching each rail/yard on the way and also gives you (E T A D)Birmingham 06/26/23/ and arrive at dealer on 07/06/23/10:56 am Awsome .
