Door trim / headliner separation - DIY fix

I've seen a few posts with headliner/door trim separation mentioned. I noticed recently my Mav has been afflicted. I tried a fix last week. So far so good....

Of course if you took it to a dealer they would say it's not a warranty issue, they need to remove the motor, here's an invoice for $16,000.

I've always said it, and I'll continue to say it: never even think about a dealership for service unless it's warranty related. Even then, be wary.

I use my dealer (Place Motors, Webster MA) for most things (I have the extended warranty), going in a week from today for "the works" and a once over look as my truck is closing in on 36,000 miles. Tires and brakes, since wear items, I usually go elsewhere.
