Door molding....

I've been trying to find some door moldings, but the only thing I found is from Ford:

Aside from being pricey and looking somewhat ugly, it's also black; my Maverick is iconic silver color. Did anyone find a place for a better looking door molding? Silver color would be preferred, but will take black, if it looks nice. Thx...

Yes, been looking at door molding too. Dawn has both a high and a low molding. High is in the response. Seach and you'll find the low if that's what you're looking for. Called them the other day to get more info. Their product [picture] is posted in a number of other seller's links. They seem legit. Been in business for a long time. Colorize using Ford's color codes. Returnable, but they said to inspect their product clearly before installing otherwise, no return

You mean half the price than the rather ugly looking molding at the Ford's accessory site?

In addition to door molding:

Dawn Enterprise has a retail website, that sells window visors, hood shields, fender flares, etc., as well. I've stopped adding items to the shopping carts, after the my shopping spree reached the price for the Ford accessory site's molding price.

Should be really easy actually.

Get a grease pen, mark a couple spots, put some painters tape and check to make sure it's level then you are good to apply the adhesive. The low ones would follow that body line so I would just mount directly on top of those. As long as you don't press super hard on the adhesive when first laying them, as in, only a couple spots to hold it in place, you can wiggle a little. Keep in mind that adhesive on these kinds of things is replaceable too. Screw it up? Replace the adhesive and try again! Heat guns will help you pull stuff like this off with very little effort.

If you aren't confident enough to do this yourself, take it to a Body Shop in your area and explain to them at what height you want them installed. They will charge you but they will have done 100's of this type of Side Molding Installation and can give you a perfect job..

Lol that's one way to shop. But it sucks that all the official accessories are so pricey

I installed the Dawn Enterprise on mine last weekend (11th), and they perfectly matched my Atlas Blue (B3) Maverick. I wanted some protection against door dings, as while I'll park away from other vehicles, there's always that person that may decide to park next to you, even though there are half a dozen or so spaces in between.

I called them and talked to sales about this molding, the person on the phone stated that most people select the low one...

You are correct, it does look better installed lower, next to the somewhat sharp break in the door panel outside. That line also make it install easier. With that stated...

I didn't get mine yet, but placed a six feet level vertically next to the door to find the highest point of the door outside. Based on this information, it seems to me that the high installation is better for the Maverick. I'd even venture to say that the installation instruction is wrong, but cannot confirm until I get it...
