Door Lock Indicators

I don't know of any vehicles that provide this. There are probably some high end ones that do, however. I believe this is something that should be provided, especially now that vehicles lock and unlock depending on speed, movement or program selection. I wouldn't expect it (or even self locking) on a low end vehicle like the Maverick. But, where the Maverick has the auto locking feature, it sure would be nice to have.

My previous 2016 Ford Fusion had red LEDs for lock indicators, some Lincoln do as well.

Provided the child safety Lock is disabled.
Opening the locked doors front and rear from the inside of the Ford Escape is fairly easy. All you do is a double pull on the door handle as the video I just made shows.

Can someone please tell me if there is some sort of visual indicator that illuminates when your doors are locked while driving?I can’t tell if my doors are locked or unlocked while I’m driving

I though auto-lock was a requirement now on all vehicles now (?).

Not that I like auto-lock.

Try looking at your doors. There’s a part of your handle that sticks out when unlocked and is flush when locked. Doors lock when you go into Drive. You also have two buttons on the door for locking/unlocking.

Just do like my wife and lock it 97 times before you go to bed.

I'm guilty of this walking through parking lots, I don't know if I'm too deaf to hear the horn or if it doesn't honk sometimes but I feel like I'm always hitting that button. Click, click click click click turn around and look at the truck, click until I see parking lights flash.
