Does X plan expire

I ordered MY23 using Fords X Plan. In the email with my pin it says it expire 7/28/23. Since I am still unscheduled and will probably be rolled to MY24 do I need to get a new pin or does it just need submitted to a dealer before the expiry date?

You will need a new PIN. The PIN is needed at time of actual purchase, not when the order is placed.

Correct, you'll provide you PIN at the actual sale. Dealerships probably vary but we're a small town so we went to the owners office the few times we used it. He took out the magic book where prices suddenly drop. Jotted the PIN and sale price on a Post-It note and we walked into F&I office to finish the deal.
