Oh those ignore. I belive its for the power adjustable steering column. I was testing corsair steering control module comes with that. I dont know if ours comes with it. But that doesn't have nothing to do with the convertion.

Can you use steering control modules from different cars in the Maverick? I got sent one with my steering wheel from the UK.

Probably the usual reason. Manufacturer bundles a couple of desirable features with a bunch of less desirable ones at an inflated price.

At least Ford didn’t put up any obstacles to the diy route.
