I pretty much finished my install, I just need to finish messing with some settings in forscan. I ended up using industrial velcro instead of the metal brackets. I also added an HD Radio ACM along with a sub, kicker key, and speaker upgrades. I also found out that the non-NAV Sync 4 APIM DOES work.

Where can you find these new bezels? The post a few posts above you says they are impossible to find.

Does it just need to be programmed with forscan or does the EEPROM need to be reflashed? Also, much to get a gas cluster converted to a Hybrid? no mile update needed.

I am almost done adding HD Radio with Sync 4 to my Maverick XL. You just need the right ACM and Sync 3/4 is definitely required.

I'm pretty sure this is the only way to do a Sync 4 firmware update as well.

I checked mine, it doesn't have a spot to plug in the ribbon cable unfortunately. I was going to swap one from an Ecosport climate control.

I think you would damage the door panels before you got these out from prying them. You definitely have to cut them off from the back. Did you attempt it yet? I attached some images to show how they look.

I know someone got the larger 12" Explorer screen working with Sync 4 in the Maverick, but there is no way to mount it. I was looking at the Escape wide screen for Sync 4, but the mounting brackets on the back don't line up with the Maverick. Hopefully we will see a solution with the 2025 model...
