Diode Dynamics, which brightness brake bulbs to buy?

Hi everyone!

Looking for input. My lasfit bulbs have again failed in the rear, to the point I only have one brake light on each side. I’m done. I already disabled turn signal outage with forscan, so I am not worried about hyperflash. I’d like to get some diode dynamics since they seem to be well-reviewed, and last I checked, they were a sponsor of the forum!

My difficult choice is on brightness. How are the mid-level (310 lumen) bulbs? Are they comparable to the lasfit ones, or should I go for the brightest (510 lumen) ones?

Any photos/advice is appreciated!

That’s what I was thinking haha. Now I gotta save up. Had the cash today but a new impact was calling my name haha. Curse that tool truck!

My Buick Encore had a clear lens w/Amber bulbs in the rear turn signal. I replace them with amber LEDs. They were as bright as the last fit switchbacks I have on the front. If I was changing lanes the person behind me damn well knew it.

After being previously rearended in another vehicle and being told “I didn’t see your lights” I usually try to be as bright as possible. I guess I’ve sold myself on the 510’s haha! Thanks!

I installed the medium bright lights in my 24XLT Hybrid.
I noticed this morning, now that it is getting daylight later, that I almost do not need the backup lights, because the taillights are so bright.! Happy with the HP11 bulbs.

I installed resistors, haven't tried to use Forscan yet, but they work great.
