Digital instrument display gone black

So my digital display on my 22 Lariat Hybrid between the analog gauges has gone black like some others have experienced. When I tried the fuse reset on fuse 22 in the body control module fuse box one thing was unusual. In the correct slot 21-22 the mapping shows it should be a 7.5 amp fuse. In that spot is a 25 amp fuse. I pulled it and reset it. The display is still out. Then I pull off the positive cable off the battery and reconnect it. Still no display. The only thing not done is checking the connection on the back of the instrument panel. However it seems like if it came out or got loose then the analog gauges wouldn’t light or work. Any thoughts from you guys?

I don’t know about the configuration on the Maverick display but I had a similar issue on my Freightliner RV twice it was the “spyder” module wondering if there is something similar it was a quick fix and didn’t require removing the display - just throwing it out there

One other member said they pulled the instrument panel, unplugged it, and plugged it back in. Then it worked again. That’s the only thing left for me to try before replacing the panel.

There was a fix put out last summer for it. Mine went out and took it in then out in 30 minutes

That didn't affect Lariat-style instrument clusters. So OP's case is unique from the recall.

The problem had not shown itself long enough to be seen or diagnosed at the dealership until now. I’m roughly one week beyond my basic warranty. I’d like to try to get help from Ford on this but cannot send them a direct message. Any tips on pursuing this with them?
