Ford told me last week that hybrid production was estimated to be done by end of February. Just glad to see a production date

Your post is confusing for 2 reasons. First, did you receive a scheduling email today (Monday instead of Thursday)?

Second, are you saying someone at Ford told you all hybrid production would stop at the end of February? When build dates are being pushed back to April and May but not canceled?

Got the same email today for production of my XLT hybrid lux April 25. Beyond surprised and not sure why I got it on a Monday. Just shy of 8 month wait but I’ll take it. Just hope it doesn’t sit outside for months after that.

I think (?) recently there were other examples of the build scheduling emails going out on a non-Thursday as well (for whatever reason). Congrats!

My apologies did not mean to make it confusing. Yes I received the email today as opposed to normal Thursday VIN day email.

Ford rep said the goal was to get all Hybrids built by end of February, barring no delays.

Wow, that must have been months ago for a Ford representative to say that. In any case congrats on getting scheduled!

Even weirder ....I had received my confirmation on 1/20 that my XLT White FX4 Lux 4K Sunroof Mav was scheduled for production on 3/7.... I was extremely happy.

With all the chip / material shortage news the past 2 weeks - I started to look throughout the western states this past weekend to see if something close to my build was on a lot with a reasonable markup that I could decide whether to go grab. I found nothing...then last night (Sunday 7pm), I received an email from FoMoCo that my Mav's production was bumped forward to 2/28...what the #$$?. I expected any day to get an email notifying me of a major delay or bump to '23. I am not sure why this happened as every time I try buying something like this (car, truck, boat) that has to be built...it turns to crap for one bad reason or another...

For those who are waiting ...and waiting for the process to move forward on your truck - I am so sorry for your delay and hope good news comes very soon for you with a quick, painless path to arrival of your Mav in your driveway! Hang in there!

If you you are in the SF bay area - check with Sunnyvale Ford. A sales person I
talked with yesterday said they were getting quite a few ordered Mavs in and surprisingly 1 here and there were not getting picked up. He has 5 coming in this week or early next week (some are hybrids) ..they will take your name and call
you if anyone who ordered flakes on picking their trucks up. The are asking +$5K
though...just an option if you are close by...

It was last week 😂. Thanks, the whole production algorithm makes little sense to me. I ordered a bare minimum of add-ons, maybe that helped ?

When did you place your order? Also did they possibly mean that their goal was to get all Hybrids SCHEDULED, not built, by the end of February?

I ordered 8/26. Few add-ons: soft tonneau cover, hitch receiver, and full size spare.

I could have been mistaken and they wanted to get them all scheduled by end of February.
