Demco 4-diode Wiring Kit Installation

We just installed the Demco Baseplate on our 2023 XLT Hybrid. I am looking at the 4-diode wiring kit installation instructions. It says that on the 6-pin side of the "pig tail" - the center post is used to charge the battery on the tow vehicle. I have a couple questions.

1. Is this even possible on the Hybrid model?
   1. Could it be as simple as running a wire from the center post and connecting it to the lug under the hood that is used to jump start the vehicle?
2. Does someone have an image of where they mounted the 6-pin connector on the truck?

For charging circuit I ran it through a self resetting 15 amp breaker to the +jump post.
Lots of room to mount this under hood on the drivers side. Look at etrailer installation videos for Maverick wiring - he suggests adding a few extra nuts onto jump post to bring connection out. This worked well for me.

Here’s some pics of what I did. I used the bracket that came with the baseplate (I think) and then fabricated a strip to go inside the horizontal plastic part of the grill with nut clips. I also fabricated brackets that are shaped like the piece of wire in the last picture to fit up behind the baseplate so if there’s pulling on the 6 pin connector while in motion it won’t just pull on the plastic grill piece. The break away switch on the left just swings forward when towing. Hope this makes sense.
