Just wanted to post a shout out to Wickstom Ford (Barrington IL). With all the horror stories I’ve seen here I thought I’d relate something different. We’ve purchased a couple of used cars from this dealer over the past 10 years without issue.
Our total time for pickup was about an hour including our test drive. No hard sell of dealer options, warranty, paint protection,etc. I got the truck for MSRP (without the price increase even though that was reflected on the sticker) and they applied a $750 savings email I got from Ford earlier this month. Though they did not match Carvana on my trade they just said “yeah that’s better than we can do so you should sell it to them”. They didn’t blink when I said I was going to pay cash.
completely what a purchase experience should be like. 10/10 would recommend to a friend
