Lessee, I own a '72 Cadillac, bid (unsuccessfully) on a Model A this morning, and yet sometimes stick to surface routes instead of freeway because I get a kick out of the mileage on the Maverick . . . uhm . . .

Nope, Hot Pepper Red was great but I like change.
I really like the Velocity Blue.
Next truck will be a different color.

The gasoline-powered, non-hybrid 2.0L EcoBoost can occasionally emit some entertaining turbo noises under the right conditions, kind of like how your cool relative can be coaxed into performing a couple of card tricks after a few drinks at the family reunion. To this jaundiced left foot, it soundly beats the optional hybrid powertrain in terms of acceleration and overall feel, though we understand making a case for fuel economy, and it’s not like the hybrid is wheezy. Tremor trims get their own front fascia to improve approach angles and a couple of stout tow hooks, proving Ford is treating the Tremor as a more than a paint-and-stickers package, which is what the FX4 devolved to after a few years.

Well, Cherokee's red truck was labeled RR for Ruby Red. I suggest this one be called BB, hopefully not meaning Blue Balls and hopefully not the condition of the new owner!!!! Of course, his wife really did want another red one......................................................

It may have been a write-off, but there is still so much value in the truck...everything but the front end is harvest-able if the truck is not repairable...everything from the doors, panels, windows, controllers, you name it....tires, rims, catalytic converter...I could go on.

Someone will buy it from the insurance company and part it out for significant coin and we need them to add the parts to available inventory as there are lots of Mavericks out there getting dinged up.

Going to the auto-recyclers was a ritual way back when I was a young Private with a family (while also working at a 2nd job unloading freight cars by hand at night to put food on the table)...no way could I afford anything new. Family first, then everything else in order of priority. I guess

Some people will be getting some 2nd hand parts in great condition, and Cherokee gets the new Tremor.
