Just get even, like this guy last year => link
Thats awesome. I'm going to start carrying a shotgun in my truck. The last two deer I've hit have scampered away. Not next time!! I'll blow their antlers off!

Massive damage is subjective! Isnt any damage to a new 2024 vehicle traumatizing? I'd argue yes.

So, driving to work, all the sudden a HUGE deer is spotted in the slow lane of a 4 lane divided highway. I'm in the fast lane, around 55mph. Within a tenth of a second, a bang from the back of my truck. The deer was running from the right side of the road to the left. Reaction time? Literally none. Expected big damage but only found this.

Thinking this could be fixed via PDR (paintless dent repair) I texted pics to 2 different outfits. Both said its fixable. Estimates are $400-600. It didn't even scratch the paint, there's no dashcam footage, and no dead deer so people tell me insurance is unlikely to believe it was a deer, although it was. Will be fixed next week via PDR.

Anything that can be repaired via painless dent removal is not "Massive"

I hate deer. Large stupid rodents IMO. I know that sounds harsh but in W PA they are a huge problem, especially from Oct-Jan. I hit 2 in one year with 2 different vehicles. My 8 month old Renegade ($4200 in damage) and my Toyota Prius C ($3500 in damage). My son hit one that jumped over a guardrail on a 4 lane while he was driving to work. Totaled his 28K mile Nissan. I think hunting season here should be year round. The deer population is getting out of control and they are starving for lack of food.

"Honey, I'm going to be a little late getting home... our airplane hit a deer."

"Oh my God! Were you guys still on the ground?!"
