There are people out there who get million dollar quarterly bonuses. There are many more people who get 5 digit quarterly bonuses. To those folks - a $10K markup is a rounding error. If they want a Maverick for the kid or whatever, they're not gonna blink. I think a lot of working class people in the USA don't really get how much money they're surrounded by and are competing with. I mean the average new car cost in the USA today is well over $40,000.
