Yes, not even a discussion. I said I didn’t want it they removed the $199 immediately. There were no other dealer additions. Just a ton of California fees & taxes.
Congrats from Rocklin! Enjoy the ride…

Did you get out of the dealer with your truck in less than the 3 hours it took me for mine?? BTW it was also a cash sale.

Hopefully you were able to decline all the "dealer options" or add-ons.

I honestly don't understand Ford dealers... At other brands the buying experience is not like this.....
They aren't all scummy. This is the second vehicle I've bought at this dealer and both experiences went smoothly as you could ask for.
Good communication, no hidden fees or finance office add-on hustle.

Picking up my truck. They want to add $199 fee for stolen vehicle services.
It is a BS fee. You can already locate it via FordPass. The only purpose it may serve is to help them locate it to repossess it if you don't make your payments.

Just a bit over 3 hours. But 2:45 of that was waiting for a finance guy to be available.

15 minutes signing papers & esignatures.

Also like 15 seconds for me to say no to the LoJack or what ever it was, absolutely no comment, just a ‘let me update the papers and remove it. ‘ BTW nothing was done to the vehicle after I said no. So I guess hardware could still be there, just not activated.

All in all I would recommend both salesman & finance guy. I’ll get that info into that tracking thread.
It's still on your truck and still active, it's an active SIM card, device will have a serial number and internally the device has been setup with the VIN of the vehicle, it tracks the vehicle and through the DMV records, knows who the owner/owners of the vehicle are.
You should go underneath the dash and remove it completely, these products are very inexpensive and cost effective for spireon/lowjack to keep active on their own.
