I believe freight (AKA Delivery & Destination fee) is already part of MSRP and is the same for all Mavericks. If they charged you a freight fee on top of MSRP then you paid twice. The Delivery & Destination fee is set at $1495.
No, at least not in Ontario. It was separated out on the purchase agreement, priced exactly as it was on the Build and Price on the Ford Canada website. MSRP for my config +$1,995 Freight Fee +$100 A/C tax

No dealer fee, and no acquisition fee like listed in the configurator from Ford. $100 down towards the order, MSRP + tax tags and title. However, we had to go through 3 different dealers before landing with Sawgrass Ford in Fort Lauderdale. A bit more to drive, but every other dealer had at least a dealer fee + some other fee. One dealer we went back (closest one) and tried to get them to drop the fee and match what we get at Sawgrass. They actually quoted us higher fees and deposit numbers than the first time and would not budge. Their loss, order put in with Sawgrass signed buyer’s order.

Same here! I looked around down here and most had dealer fees, Sawgrass Ford did not and accepts the X-Plan.

To the OP, keep calling other dealerships in your area. You can also check on their website most of the times.

Dealer fee of 695. Discount of 600, and referral of 750, which I am splitting with my friend, so 375. Total of 975 off. No other charges.

Howdy Canadian owners,

I've talked to two different dealers about placing a Factory order. One has a $695 dealer fee; the other is 1k. What dealer fee did you pay? Are all dealers charging extra fees? Has anyone been able to get their truck for a discount? A fully loaded Lariat is my plan. Figure there is more margin in this build for the dealer.
My purchase will be through the X-Plan. My dealer said ford will reimburse them for the X-Plan discount. So it depends on how greedy the dealership is.

MSRP + $695 dock fee + freight & delivery + tax. That's all I know for now. I'll be rather upset if they try to add paint protection or any of that nonsense when I go to pick it up. All the dealers here are marking vehicles up, so I'm bracing myself for how much it will be.

One thing I'm trying to figure out is, why there are so many Americans posting in the Canada section. 😆

Whoops! Good point haha, didn't even notice it was specific to Canada!

I never paid admin fee for a very long time, but this is the first time I paid MSRP for the Maverick.

Know which trim you want, calculate the price including options, freight and air tax, plus HST in Ontario. That will be your OTR price, it is up to the dealer if they want to incorporate whatever fee they want into the invoice price, but just know you pay only the OTR price.

Email a bunch of dealers with this in mind. The other option is use a free service like unhaggle.com
