"Cute" "Little" truck?

How people can fuss about the hybrid having "only" 191 HP is totally beyond me. Trust me, you can get up and go on a helluva lot less just fine.

Yes, but the hybrid doesn't have "just" 191hp. It also has the electric motor to assist. I've seen 0-60 times for the hybrid of 7.4 secs. Hardy slow. My 2012 Focus DCT was about 7.6 secs and I never felt it was slow by any means. Matter of perspective I guess. There are those that consider anything that can't do 0-60 mph in less than the mid 5's, slow. That's silly.

I was once asked how my "cute" Maverick was. I told the guy it's pretty cute and I enjoy room for 5 with a bed and outstanding gas mileage. All the guys I work with have new F-150s but no one ever made a comment about the masculinity of the Mighty Mouse. 80% of F-150 owners use their truck to haul beach chairs and a push mower when it breaks down and never had to hook up a trailer. Having a Maverick is a privilege and the little truck is definitely a head turner. There are a few things to be desired, but I keep reminding myself how much I paid for this glorious piece of engineering.

I've had my "cute little truck" for 5 weeks now and still have not visited a gas station.

It may be small but it moves me and my 3 growing grandsons to all of their activities and we are not shoulder to shoulder in the cab. The bed is small but it will haul everything I need to haul. If it cannot, we'll that's why I have a trailer. I had an Isuzu and it was smaller but would haul and tow everything I needed moved. I expect the same from the maverick.

And it's a truck, too!
