It performed it's duties well as a daily driver for work and running around with, and to get, my boys post-divorce. But they're 10 and 11 now, so I need to upgrade to a vehicle with more legroom and cargo space.

I own a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis LS. Bought it for $800 DELIVERED. Only 120k on it. No rust.

Recently purchased 2020 bloated Ford Focus... I mean, Great Value brand Cayenne... I mean, Ford Escape SE.

My '14 Focus with the infamous automatic transmission survived all those recalls and 141,000 (90% driven in the last few years) before it went on to the upper room. So I was forced to go vehicle shopping in a weekend to replace my car and minimize my rental purchase. I wanted a Bronco Sport. Much to my surprise, there was much more room for my legs in the Escape than the Sport. I'll take comfort over looks, so I went with the Escape.

I plan on keeping the Escape as long as possible. However, I'll be eyeing the Maverick to see how it does. I'm hoping it's internal size resembles the Escape rather than the Sport. If that remains true, an AWD hybrid is offered, and it has great crash test ratings, I might be doing a trade in a couple years.

It's hard finding a truck that balances pickup utility with my desire to take up EV-only parking. I reserved a Lightning during the reveal, but even a non-plugin hybrid Maverick sounds like it might be a better idea than a Niro with a hitch that can't officially tow anything.

I have a
2018 Mustang GT
2019 Harley Road Glide
2006 F-150 Supercrew with the 5.4 Triton motor.

I’m the 2nd owner of the F-150 and I’ve owned it for 4.5 years now but sucks the gas down pretty bad.

Im wanting a more fuel efficient vehicle for daily driving/store runs etc and so far I’m liking the Maverick.

I’ve had a hybrid before and a couple of vehicles with the CVT so I’m leaning towards the Maverick hybrid.

Seeing one in person and being able to sit in it/drive it will let me know if it’s too small etc.

2011 Subaru Outback with 168k a worrying valve tick, and functioning but wholly inadequate a/c. It’s been a great car that I picked up used for under $10k 3 years ago and it’s done it’s job and never let me down, but even with the massive cargo area the utility just isn’t there. I’ve even taken it on some Jeep trails with friends and lifted it late last year.

Daily driver is 2017 Mercedes CLS 550. I have on order (currently sitting at a dock in Europe waiting for ship assignment) a 2021 CLS. I decided to also order a Maverick Lariat just for those times I need some lumber or mulch. Only thing I can put in the trunk of the CLS is two bags of groceries - more like one and a half bags! But what a ball it is to drive this thing! Hopefully, the Maverick will slow this old man down a bit.

double post here, but while I drive a Honda Insight, my partner drives a FWD 2018 Toyota CHR...we are both excited about the Maverick, but disappointed with no AWD hybrid.
