Current 2026 Build Times.

I ordered mine in December, and was told they should start construction around the first week of March. That’s exactly what happened, and it shipped last week. I’m still waiting to hear when I will pick it up. What I’ve seen on Reddit threads is that it’s about three weeks from when they start to build. I’m hoping to have mine within the week. I will update you when I get it.

That's a lot better than the 8 months I waited for my first Mav, than another month in shipping, my second was 3 days, that was in stock.

8 to 10 weeks sounds pretty good. My 22 EB was 11+ months and my wife's 23 hybrid that turned in a 24 was 17 months.

I just heard back from Ford… I should have it between the 27th and April 2. I’m upgrading from a lariat, gasoline 2 Wheel Dr. to another lariat, hybrid all-wheel-drive with the 4K tow package and a whole lot of other stuff, I’m gonna be one happy camper when I get my new truck!

I am SURE you will be happy with the upgraded AWD Hybrid. I had a MY22 ECO XL and a MY24 Hybrid XL before upgrading to a MY25 AWD Hybrid XL with 4K towing. The MY25 was a major upgrade in my opinion. Well worth the minimal cost to upgrade.

Good luck, I waited 8 months for my first Maverick! Longest 8 months of my life.

Just now I talked to my Ford dealer. I'd like to order a 2026 Maverick hybrid Lariat with 4k tow.
He said it would take between 3 to 6 months to arrive. It's from one of the largest Ford dealers
in the U.S. Not sure if that makes any difference. Sound about right?

I'm in no hurry, as I have my garage to clean out and make some improvements before storing my new baby inside.

There are so many variables that it’s hard to put a ballpark time frame on the process. I feel like it changes so drastically based on when you order- during model year change, and when Ford switches from Job 1 to Job 2 mid year.

The best info that I have gained about the process has been through the folks on this forum who have ordered recently, and the Long McArthur Ford salesman Tim Bartz through their weekly scheduling update videos on YouTube.

I’m still optimistic that my dealership’s guesstimate of 8-10 weeks is accurate.

Time will tell.
