I think you did good, a little negotiating & saved 6K! Just in sales tax alone you saved enough to buy nearly 100 gallons of fuel.

Final update: I am now a hybrid Lux lariat owner! We settled on 3,500 over which means a sticker price of 37,965. I really wanted to only do only 2,000 over msrp but they added ceramic coating and paint line blah blah. I really had little position to negotiate to begin with other than really guilty into not screwing over a veteran right before Veterans Day . I’ll post some pics in the morning of my new baby

Congrats! Tbh I think you got the best deal possible. Especially for a larait lux awd in WI. Shame the guilt trip didn't work. There's always our free meal at Applebees to look forward to tho
