Just wondering if anyone knows if anyone has printed a cover that would prevent drive mode changes.

Our dog regularly seems to engage hill descent control. Kind of scary taking off not knowing it's been engaged. I was excited by the rotary shift knob so he'd never nudge the shifter, but the drive mode buttons are easily hit by dogs, purses, phones, etc.

I've never had any issues, but I'll take a look and see if I can whip together a design

I suppose something like that could work.

I was imagining a big cover that sits on top of the rise that houses those buttons and the shift knob. In my mind there would be a finger hole to shift the vehicle and then either a hinge to open the rear buttons or I would just pull the whole thing off when needed (I don't change drive modes often). Hell maybe even something that just sits over the buttons that could easily be pulled off when needed.

I was hoping for something 3d printed so it fits nice and snugly. I don't know anything about that but I'd be happy to pay for it.
