Cover Short

I know it’s pretty common knowledge that the roll-up Tonneau covers are a bit too short. Does anyone have a solution for this, to close the gap between the tailgate and the rubber strip along the cover? My truck came with the cover and I don’t want to spend the money right now on replacement.

How big of a gap is there? You should be able to readjust it to split the difference between the front and back. Just loosen the clamps and slide it toward the tailgate more.

I bought the Ford soft roll up after the fact (used points) and it is long enough. Could yours be defective and under warranty?

i recently put on a Gator (cheapest one) soft roll up. Fits perfectly. Make sure you position the little adjustor blocks correctly.
