I know I posted a few weeks back about this but I officially gave up a little over a week ago.
Found a 2022 GMC Canyon Elevation with a few bells and whistles and went for it. Nearly identical pricing as Maverick Lariat Lux-
For anyone who feels this is getting a little too ridiculous.. there are amazing alternatives out there!
good luck to you all- Maverick is still such a cool little truck

Congrats man, definitely a more capable truck than the Maverick when it comes to towing/trucky things.
Thank you! A part of me wishes I was able to get the Maverick I ordered last year but at some point enough is enough

Good luck to you, I wish you love the truck. But I haven't had great luck with GM vehicles personally in terms of reliability and durability so even if my truck took much longer I would have kept waiting for the Maverick myself. But that's just personal preference based on personal experiences which can vary person to person.

I never know the right thing to say in these situations. Sorry for your loss. :(

Kidding aside, I am waiting to see what changes the '23 Santa Cruz will bring, and failing that if they say its going to be a year or so before I can get a Maverick hybrid at or below MSRP, I'm thinking of grabbing a '23 Kia Sportage EX Hybrid as those can still tow 2K lbs.

I love the blacked out canyon! Out of my price range but it looks great. Glad you found something nice

Obvious changes would add turbo to base model . Wireless CarPlay on all models. Maybe a hybrid but may be few years away .

I just test drove a GMC Canyon, Elevation trim. I think it has a couple of options, nothing crazy, MSRP is right about $39,000. Salesman also said they're currently offering financing at three years, 0% interest.

...urrrggghhhhh I shouldn't have taken it for a test drive...it was pretty damn cool...I want it...

If I still had a vehicle of my own it wouldn't matter so much...but we're down to one vehicle, it's been four months since I ordered and still no idea when it might be scheduled.
