My lid vor the console will not latch. At the dealer for an oil change and they will check. Anyone else had this issue?

There is a piece of felt (I assume to reduce rattling) that on mine was misplaced and made latching inconsistent. Maybe check that, and move it if need be?

Where did the felt originally go? Mines sticking to the lid part but it doesn’t looks right. Should It go on the center console part?

I don't know exactly, but I wrapped it on the bottom of the hook so that it would cushion the contact with the bottom of the small hook compartment, which SEEMS correct.

I had the issue. They adjusted the latch during a servicing at me dealership. All good since then.
