Confused on build date

I ordered my 2025 Maverick on on September 30, 2025. I received confirmation that the order was received on November 5, 2025. I had not heard anything since, so I went to my dealer and he told me that my truck was scheduled to be built the week of January 19, 2025. I am concerned that I have heard nothing from Ford since the confirmation e-mail. I am also assuming that this is going to be a Job 1. I ordered a Lariat with pretty much all of the major options. Any input would be appreciated.

Have your sales code and order code handy and call and talk to Ford customer service directly.

Your dealer should have provided you with a piece of paper that had those codes on it, along with other important information. If not, call your salesperson or the sales manager and request a copy. It's your copy.

Ford is real hit and miss with communication….
If you have a ford.com account, and if your dealer will give you the VIN and order number, you can get a production process timeline.. (order date, order accepted, build date, produced…)

I check my account a few times a week, and knew I had my window sticker before my sales guy did.

Get a ford.com account… one username and password across the whole Ford universe (mostly).

Did you receive the order confirmation notice from the dealer or from FORD? I just ordered my 2025 and had order confirmation from FORD within an hour of signing the order. If your notification came from your dealer, you might want to check with them to see if they put your email address on the order. If not, FORD won't know where to send you additional notifications. If you got your notification from FORD, it may be that your dealer didn't have any allocations when you ordered and they had to wait to put the order in until they got their new allocations.

Thanks again everyone. I called Ford Customer Service and they got me the VIN and I was able to sign in and see my build date and equipment. They did say that they are having issues with their e-mail system.
