I see all these message post about getting a recall done and then their Mav has problems. Not sure why people do all these recalls right away.

These vehicles are basically a computer attached to 4 wheels. There is more computing power on a ford maverick than what took astronauts to the moon.

I work in the computer field and they always say if you want to work all weekend, just run a software update on a Friday afternoon.

I will wait as long as possible to get updates on my mav.

A toaster oven has way more computing power than an Apollo landing craft which was little more than a pocket calculator.

Most Maverick issues stem from having too many dam computers networked trying to talk to each other.

My stepson told me it took 16hrs to do their first Mav update.

My son took his new Tesla 3 to Tesla to have the driver's window aligned properly. They told him "we are a techology company, not a car company". He told them their technology operates the window so fix it. They realigned the window so it tracks properly but not without grumbling that it was the factory's problem. Absurd. So Mav owners, feel better about your Mav. That said, he paid for his Model 3 what I paid for my 24 hybrid Lariat.

They seem to be using old Gateway computers on these trucks :ROFLMAO: Man, I sure do long for the days when the computer only controlled the engine! If a car company made vehicles where the only computer was for engine control, and everything else was analog, they wouldn't be able to make them fast enough. They'd probably be the most reliable vehicle on the market too. That won't ever happen though, because government :(
