cluster lighting pulsates

My instrument cluster can't make up its mind in the morning. I've noticed that the center screen switches from night to day mode before the auto lights go off in the morning. During that in between time my cluster will go from lights on/off modes (dim/bright) every 10-30 seconds. Not a big deal but I notice I'm glancing down when
it happens.

I know, under warranty. Just wondering is I can alter a setting or do something with a forscan and avoid a trip.
