I don't know why he'd need to drop the diff though. more to come as this unfolds!
They shouldn't need to remove the diff but just a heads up in case they really want to. It won't come off without removing the transmission or cutting some castings off the engine block. When you unbolt it to find that out the transmission fluid starts pouring out and there's a conical seal in there that you have to try and get back in place with like a 1 inch opening to work with.

Just got the truck back a week ago, not sure if he had to remove the diff or not but that sounds like it would have been an awful time......

I've Just had the following installed:
Fast Maverick downpipe with high flow cat straight midpipe
Thermal R&D 3" cat back exhaust
(S&B intake and GFB are already installed and still need to install the CVF intercooler and Velossa Ram/snorkels)

Sounds like garbage any time you get on the gas, don't know what I was thinking....

I've just ordered a 3" resonator(vibrant clone), hoping that will help like it did on my Titan swapped frontier....Fingers crossed.

Just in case the resonator doesn't help, I ordered some 3 to 2.5 reducers so we can put the stock exhaust back in.

Any suggestions on a quieter 3" muffler???

He was not able to reinstall the 02 sensor on the cat either due to proximity to the tunnel/heat shielding.

My truck has been tuned by Panda prior to this and I guess to be fair he was still working his way into more power but it was pretty soft, softer than the tune that comes with the Cobb tuner so I just left it where it was at until I got the DP installed.

Anyway, I reached back out to Panda for an update tune this week but he claims he can't tune it with the O2 sensor not installed so I just ordered a 90degree bung/o2 adapter to try and see if that will allow the O2 sensor to go back in....

More to follow.....

So here is the FM down pipe as installed...there is no room to install the o2 sensor. Panda say they can't tune it without the sensor.... Do you guys have any suggestions?

Probably not any you want to hear but you'll probably have to take it off and have someone weld another O2 sensor bung on it. I just finished switching out my Fast Mavericks catless downpipe for the CVF catted downpipe and it's O2 sensor is in the same spot but rotated down a little bit. I've got to get back under it later and I'll try and get a picture of where it's O2 sensor is.
