2025 XLT hrbrid should a white check engine light on the left side of the dash be seen when driving, It is not there when first starting truck? thanks

I would have thought it would be Red, but IMO regardless of color don't think a Check Engine Light should be on while driving - that would indicate there is a problem. Verify in your manual. I assume a visit to your dealer would be appropriate. Lots of auto parts store can check for error codes thrown with their scan device for free of what the problem is related to.

The white light is not the check engine light. It's the power meter which indicates whether you're using engine power electric or both. Note that it rises in proportion to how hard you press the accelerator. And it goes negative when coasting or braking. It's a light blue when running on electric, white when using engine, and a combination when using both
