Hey there, I was wondering if anyone has found a way to change the back up sound on the hybrid. I have heard other vehicles play songs or other tones. I have searched the forum and did not see any other posts.
If you have how did you do it?

Highly doubt it, Elon wasn’t involved with this one

As someone who wears hearing aids, I wish there was a way to increase the volume of several of the audio alerts.

The forward sound in EV and the reverse ting, ting, ting, comes from the sample place. The speaker is behind where the driver's side fog lamp should go.

A) if it's just a weatherproof speaker and the sound comes from a circuit board somewhere else, this is not easy to modify.

B) if this is an "All in one" unit, and the wires are just power wires (versus audio or data wires) then this modificarion would be easy. You could potentially use the same wires to power a doorbell, Ooga horn, or mp3 musical device.

I suspect A. But have not tried. Yet. 😈

The sound of the back-up chime + back up assist sonar + hybrid speaker sound = absolute sensory chaos when backing into my garage. I have to back it really close to the side so the wife's Exploder can fit in the 2 car section so everything is sounding off all at the same time lol
