Hey guys, seen a couple folks posting there CB installs, so I though I'd share mine as well! I didn't take many in detail photos while I was doing it (I was trying to beat the rain that was rolling in), but I have a few finished product pictures. I'm hoping it'll give others ideas or insight. My antenna bracket was fabbed from some regular old flat steel. I used one of the unused cargo hook locations in the bed to mount it. I really love that Ford made running wires super easy on this truck. There's grommets everywhere, including one on either side of the back of the "cab" that lead right into the C pillar of the cabin. I pulled power from an unused fuse in the BCM that was labeled "spare". I can't remember exactly which number it was, but it was hot, so just used a fuse tap. Originally I tried using velcro for the radio mount but it wouldn't hold, so I bit the bullet and used the supplied hardware with the radio to hard mount it to the truck. I'm really pleased with it.

Nice Job. I remember back in the early 70's when CB's were the hot thing to have. Haven't seen one for a Long Long Time. For some reason this reminds me of Smokey and the Bandit :p

I remember if you had a cobra radio and good antenna in the 70's, then you were talking the talk.

Where did you ground the antenna after running it through the grommet in the bed of the truck?

I took it down the inside of the bed, and underneath the chassis. Added on to a factory ground somewhere on the driver side.
