Carplay not playing all songs that i can play on iPhone

Has anyone experienced a problem where some albums/artists/songs appear greyed out on the list in carplay and can't be selected to play even though they play fine on my iPhone

Yes! I'm having the exact same problem! I thought it was something to do with how I managed my playlists and didn't consider that it might be Carplay. I did not experience this before I installed a wireless carplay connection module, though, so I may have a different problem than you. Thanks for the post. My wife's rental car has wireless carplay built in. Now that I read your post, I'll have to check to see if that's my problem. Thank you. Good luck.

That could be. Certainly something to consider when I bird dog this problem more closely. Thanks

I am still waiting on my truck but my previous car had a limited selection of Spotify options while the vehicle was in motion. My phone was always plugged in. For instance I could only load the top couple of playlists unless I was stopped. I am not sure if you are using another app and whether you are trying to select things while the vehicle is in motion, but might be a Car Play "safety feature."
