CarPlay distorted with new iPhone 17 Pro? Why?

I have a 2024 Xl maverick with car play. My IPHONE 13 was fantastic and truck display was perfect.
Now with new IPHONE 17pro the display sharpness has degraded. It's more grainy.
Does anyone have information or a fix? I want my prior display sharpness back.

Just as another data point, I will say that my 17 Pro Max works fine (probably better than my 13 did) in my 2023.

Apple revamped the graphics in iOS 26, and I would think that translucency and reflectivity may be part of it.

Not sure I want IOS 26 but Apple has never offered it either on my 15 Pro.

No issues with graininess but Carplay and Ford Premium Connectivity always seem to be at war with each other in my 25 Lariat.
