CarPlay app for weather and gas prices

Hi All,

I am a fairly new Maverick Lariat hybrid AWD owner, had it a few weeks. I traded in a 2014 Ford Fusion that had built-in functions to find fuel prices nearby, plus weather. I see the Lariet has the subscription-based map and some limited weather info, but have not found anything for gas price search. I just see that it displays the gas station name. Also, I am not sure I'll pay the $80/year on the subscription based on what I see so far.

Are there any apps that work with Apple CarPlay that provide weather and local gas prices? I have gas buddy and weather.com, and neither works with CarPlay.

Waze shows location and prices

As ugfbill said, either Waze (or Google maps) can show nearby gas prices right on the map. No need for a separate app.

I believe my ‘24 lariat hybrid came with 5 years free weather gas and other search apps.

I'm trying My Radar, available on CarPlay for iPhone. Weather, temps, and of course, radar. Accuracy yet to determined. Just loaded yesterday.

Just an FYI but I work for an airline and use my radar while at work, home, and while driving via CarPlay. Works great.

Carrot weather for the iPhone will display a radar map on the screen, but nothing else yet. It may do navigation, but I have not used it for that yet since I know where I am at 99.9% of the time.

Have not seen one for the gas prices yet, but you have a hybrid! How often do you need gas!?
