Carbonized Gray looking sweet here on this Maverick XLT next to F-150

I agree - CGM is the color! Can't wait to see a CGM XLT with the painted rims. I bet that combo will be sweet.

I wanted to order CGM but I'm having second thoughts after seeing this image on reddit.. I was a little worried about this with any color aside from black or white but it seems to show up the worst on CGM. Look at the plastic valance to metal fender to see what I'm talking about would a good shop be able to blend these colors a little better? I know the metal fender will never look identical to the plastic valance.

Almost looks like two different colors

Now that one looks much better. Maybe it was just the angle and the lighting playing tricks in that other photo.

you cant go by pictures and showroom lighting. Personally I would not worry about it.

Ok so I was a huge Rapid Red fan, especially with the First Edition graphics on it. I was even willing to wait for a late delivery to get it. Then I saw the interior photos of the Hot Pepper Red and I just couldn't do it. The B and C pillar red showing on the interior against the navy blue is, as my dad said, "sick and not in a good way."

So, I went with the Carbonized Gray. Looks really sleek in the photos being posted and goes well with all of the interior options, will be a subtle contrast with the black FE graphics in the shade and really stand out in the sun. Hadn't thought much until I saw all these pics. Great color that will age well.

These recent photos and videos definitely make it look a lot lighter than the builder on the Ford's site.

I was kind of hoping it would be darker than these pics seem to show.

Could that possibly be caused by protective film applied to the truck?

I ordered a Lariat Carbonized Gray on 8/12. Not a huge fan of the Lariat standard brown/blue 2 tone interior but I'm sure it will grow on me. I wish Ford offered Black activeX. Overall I'm super excited for the Maverick!
