Lariats are standard AWD EcoBoost. So Hybrid technically gets discounted: see the Equipment Group 500A $-720 line item.Is that a HYBRID? Should have $1500 added for that. Looks like a FWD eco boost.

And the one’s that don’t get their Maverick get to share the pot!Maybe we should have a side bet to see who gets built first...or even gets built!
I'm supprised that the dealer didn't put you at a 10 rather than have you go away mad. Priority codes and allocations are just numbers they throw around to give you at least something. It's no skin off their nose to tell you your priority code is 10 and that they have twice as many allocations as they have orders to keep you waiting.Couple of days ego, I've ordered a Hybrid for '24:

The price was OK with me, about $1.3K more than my current one, but didn't like the priority code of 19. Based on what I've seen in this forum, it would've taken Ford probably a year, if not rolled over for '25. Nah, just keep my '23 Lariat....
Yeah that's why I'm still waiting for a hybrid. The truck loses much of it's appeal to me with a little gas only engine stressed by a turbocharger. Yes I know its much more powerful and still gets pretty good miliage but I've had many older cars where the turbo goes and it's literally a drag. While I am a OK with the Maverick, there hasn't been a 'love' relation with it. Especially dislike the carbon buildup issue with the EB 2.0 that will surface sooner or later. Yes, one can install couple of OCCs, but that does not eliminate this issue, just delays it. At the same time, there are risks with installing the OCCs that could cause more issues. The hybrid Maverick 2.5L hybrid does not have the carbon build up issue and initially wanted it, but has other issues that made me cancel the order.
Couple that with relatively bad experience with the "order & pray" way of getting my first one, it's not something that I want to repeat. I much prefer purchasing a new vehicle by just walking into dealer's lot and pick one.
The chances are that my next truck will have naturally aspirated engine, instead of a small size, high output engine. This is not intended to belittle the EB engines, it's just an indication of my preference....
Can you expand on this other issues? Is it ford issues, part issues, build issues? While I am a OK with the Maverick, there hasn't been a 'love' relation with it. There are couple of them, like no 4K towing package, front wheel drive only, too much cheap plastic all around, rather thin body panels that could crumble when someone sneezing close by. I was just kidding with the sneezing....Can you expand on this other issues? Is it ford issues, part issues, build issues?
