Can Keyless entry Keypad door pillar be added to XL?

I did it here on my 2018 F150.

I used tools and forscan. No Dealer or outside help.

I was wondering if anybody knew where the values might be to set in Forscan???

OP, I know exactly what you are trying to do and make it oem. It is probably easy but not seen anyone do it yet so you would likely be the first. Good luck in your quest, I'm sure you can figure it out! Please post back as I will prob add it too if mine ever gets delivered.

The part says “Requires Dealer Service Tool.” So does that really mean you have to take it to the dealer to get it to work?

Of course it was too simple and they had to make it more difficult. I used one of these types of keypads on my 2012 Focus and 2018 Escape and had no problem. But it seems like newer vehicles there are more steps. I suggest watching some videos on YT. Here is one I found ...

Perfect and thanks. Just another reason for me to finally get into Forscan…adding cruise control to my XL was the first reason.
