Buying used mav with magnaflow, need some info

Hello, I'm prob grabbing a used maverick from a local dealer which has what appears to be a magnaflow exhaust installed. Cant tell if its axel back, catback or turbo back.

Should I expect the prior owner to have had this thing tuned for the exhaust or are they generally plug and play? If they tuned it, is there any easy way to get it back to the stock tune? I do not intend on keeping the exhaust, I just want to run it stock.

I would avoid that truck. Mod of the exhaust may indicate a hard driving style of the previous owner. Who knows why they sold or traded the truck and possible problems with future warranty work because of the mod(s?).

When I had my shop, very few of my customers combined a tune with an exhaust kit. Typically, they just wanted a better sound.

Can't say I'm familiar with Magnaflow's offerings for the truck, but I've never heard of a vehicle needing tuned for an axle back or a cat back. From previous experience turbo backs, or any change to the downpipe, on most vehicles often require a tune.

More than likely a catback exhaust. The dealer can check if it has a tune on the PCM.

After looking on MagnaFlow's site they only offer a cat back exhaust system for the Maverick.
