So purchased the Buschur Air-Oil Separator while waiting for my 2.0 EB FoMav to arrive… Installed it on Day 1 Aug 16th. Been driving to and from work and a few hundred mile trips for a month now and 4,000 ish miles. I would check the Air-Oil Separator every 500 miles or so and would get a drop or drip out of it. Was like…ok, catching a little ok.
Well I just drove from PA-MO 900ish miles straight….. just at 5,000ish miles and holding at roughly 2k rpm for 12hrs. Only stopped for fuel. Ate my dinner from Sugar Fire at and arrived at my hotel. I FoMav clean up, checked fluids because tomorrow I will finish from trip from MO-CO.
Check how much blow by the Buschur Air-Oil Separator KIT stopped…. Omg. Totally worth every penny. I'm sure there are other kits as well….but I can only speak for the kit I purchased.
I have owned several turbocharged vehicles since the 90’s. FMII Miata, 02 WRX, 04 STi, 11 WRX and I think it is a wise part purchase.
I have no skin in the
game, just letting you see what could be making its way into your intake or intercooler. Just an fyi…
-AMM APPROVED.
If wondering what is done to my FoMav
-2”ford ranger lifts kit
- 245/70/17 tires
- triple bronze oem 17” wheels
- air-oil separator
-stubby antenna
- oem engine cover
- hood struts
-tailgate strut
-Diamondback SE and Crossbin 8
