I’ve been eyeballing different ways to mount my phone in the Mav. I toyed with the cubby systems, but they always looked flimsy for phone mounting to me. I’d seen the Rubigrid a while back and commented on one of their social posts they should do one for the Mav. Well they eventually did and I was hesitant to pull the trigger. They weren’t exactly cheap and I wasn’t sure how secure they were so I let a few others bite the bullet (ha, that was an unintentional pun) and waited in reviews. After several poured in positive, and seeing their Black Friday sale, I finally pulled the trigger on one. I’m an apple guy so I went with the mag safe mount (XL so CarPlay is still wired is why I didn’t go MagSafe charging).

Took me about 20 minutes to install it (10 of which were popping the tray out. Pro tip, go ahead and order the green clips on the bottom side that hold it in place because you’re going to lose 1 down in the dash and you’ll have to take the world apart to get it out… Anyway, I’m happy with how it turned out and it’s a good convenient location for me as it doesn’t obstruct the factory screen. And yes, it’s been cold and rainy here so I haven’t cleaned the Mav in a couple weeks

Im guessing this requires drilling through the dash/cubby?

90 bucks.

I thought my pro clip Mount & Holder was expensive for $40 on sale.
