Is picking up the vehicle at the factory an option? - I think ford should sell direct or at least have the option to buy direct - this might wake up these pretentious dealerships I’m tired of paying for under performance and incompetence…WooHoo!

I just hope it beats the tariffs across the border.
No. Ford is a mass-market producer, with a dealership network that is more than a century old.Is picking up the vehicle at the factory an option?
I understand that - I visited 5 different dealerships prior to purchasing my 2025 Lariat AWD Hybrid - I found that most of the salespeople knew less about their products or inventory than I did and couldn’t answer the simplest questions or tried to wing it with BS so basically paper pushers to earn a commission only to have a sales manager try and recover a possible deal if the potential customer looks like they will walk while throwing their incompetent salesperson under the bus - I guess all Mavericks will eventually sell so loyalty and repeat business is less important since they probably won’t be working there in the longterm…No. Ford is a mass-market producer, with a dealership network that is more than a century old.
It’s awesome when you find the right dealer I had to travel almost 100 miles north of me but found them they are smaller and family owned and my experience was pretty amazingSorry about your experiences, Dave. The dealer I went with is pretty solid. No BS yet, just straight answers. My rep even corrected my assumptions about the tailgate lock and made sure my build was what I wanted.
Well, picking up at the factory is not an option with Ford.I understand that - I visited 5 different dealerships prior to purchasing my 2025 Lariat AWD Hybrid - I found that most of the salespeople knew less about their products or inventory than I did and couldn’t answer the simplest questions or tried to wing it with BS so basically paper pushers to earn a commission only to have a sales manager try and recover a possible deal if the potential customer looks like they will walk while throwing their incompetent salesperson under the bus - I guess all Mavericks will eventually sell so loyalty and repeat business is less important since they probably won’t be working there in the longterm…
No need to worry about the tariffs...you are price protected if you have a signed sales agreement (DORA).I just hope it beats the tariffs across the border.
