I'll answer the question for you:

The equivalent price to my lease was about $27K for my 2018 Clarity. Honda got the benefit of the government incentives since it was a lease. I had an upper model (Touring), so I can't imagine what happened by 2021 to have models at $59K.

I have a 2022 Maverick and early on, as I was slowing down I would sometimes here a loud bang, like someone was literally hitting the side of my truck. The dealer twice said they "couldn't duplicate the issue". Eventually, there was a recall and a software fix and it went away. It barely came back again, and they put the software back in and the problem went away for a while. The problem now is as I'm slowing down and get to exactly 4 MPH, the brakes grab just a little, enough for me to notice. Maybe I'm more sensitive to this because I drive a tour bus and stopping smoothly is important. Literally every other car I hop into, the brakes don't do this. I've had two dealers test it and they say it's either nothing or "normal for Mavericks". Sometimes I notice it more going down an incline but it's definitely noticeable. Anyone else have this situation?
Many 2022's are like this.
