BOSS MAV (Maverick build inspired by BOSS 302 Mustang)

My BOSS MAV,
Hi everyone got my cyber orange a Mavrick a month ago.
From the first time I saw the CO color on the Maverick I knew what I had planned for it.
I've even seen a post where someone else had a similar idea.
The truck is not completely done but I figured I show you all where it is so far.
I have added Raptor spray in bed liner, a hard tri-fold fold bed cover, mud flaps, and hood guard already. I laid out the hood stripe side hockey stripes and did a blackout panel on the tailgate too.
Still to come I plan to spell out BOSS and possibly MAV under it at the start of the hockeystick by the hood.
Much like a BOSS 302 Mustang which the paint job pays an homage to.I also planning to mount a couple of Hella 500 driving lights just above the front license plate.
Ok, here goes!

You really need to add the Taxi light on the top with this color.

I really appreciate how you used the lines of the fender vent to dictate the angle for the side stripe. That's great design detail. this looks fantastic.

Thank you, yes I used the trucks lines to show off the stripes without fighting the design.

I'm telling you with that kind of glowing endorsement. I now wished I'd gone the roll top route. Not to say that there's any problems with the hard tri-fold type that I have now. I Just kind of like the looks of it.

All the covers have pros & cons. You just have to get what works for you and your needs. I have to admit I liked the look of the roll top on the Santa Cruz and thought it would look good on the Maverick. You do lose some bed space but not that much. IF you decide to go with the retractable cover, check out the SyneticUSA from Truck2Go. It’s the least expensive of either other retractable or the hard roll type covers. Btw, I use CarLinkit for wireless Apple CarPlay. As for wireless charging, I found on Etsy a 3D printed holder for the Apple charging puck. The holder fits perfectly. Yes, you have to deal with cables but zip ties made corralling them less of a problem. Just thought you might find that interesting. I used 3M double sided tape to top of the cubby space where it’s out of site and out of the way.

Your Mustang Looks great! The racing stripes with the hockey stripe on the sides, has always been my favorite design. For me once I saw the Maverick in cyber orange it was a no brainer to add them to it.

I will, but currently my wife and I are planning a trip to Yellowstone then down to Texas to see our son in August. We'll also see how the hybrid tows are A-frame pop-up camper at the same time.

Here's the B2 I had before my Yellow one above that came from Vel's Parnelli Jones Ford in Torrence, CA (same grounds as his race shop) and was reported to be his demo driver. My Blue car was Grabber Blue but for some reason this pic makes it look a little lighter in color....
